On June 30th 2014, ETHZ hosted a Case Studies workshop in Zurich, which was attended by the relevant partners. The goal of this workshop was to bring together people from the various WP’s to agree a common solution on the best way to implement the methodologies developed in WP2-WP7 within the Case Study simulations. Topics of discussion at the workshop included; an overview of the case studies; the goals of the case studies; the case studies from the perspective of a road manager and decision maker; clarification of the responsibilities of the various partners; brainstorming discussions on the hazards, the loads applied, infrastructure performance, consequences to the infrastructure; IT issues and stress testing procedures.
