Harmonisation Workshops

Between late April 2014 and early June 2014, ETHZ hosted three separate workshops to facilitate the development of the overarching methodology for the risk assessment process and the development of the computational support required to support the risk assessment process. Two of the workshops, were concerned with achieving the objective of the overarching methodology which is to ensure that the results produced in WP2 (hazards to which critical infrastructure is exposed), WP3 (hazard curves and vulnerability functions for different events and infrastructure elements; uncertainties) and WP5 (spatial and temporal aspects when dealing with infrastructure networks) can be used together to identify the risk related to critical infrastructure. The third workshop was concerned with developing the rules, work flows and computational processes by which the risk assessment process would be seamlessly integrated into the INFRARISK Decision Support Tool (IDST).
